Bride of Swanson

Mr. and Mrs. Lorentz Hegland of Crookston, Minn. announce the marriage of their daughter, Katherine Ellen, to Earl G. Swanson, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Swanson, 3621 Ninth Ave S.

The ceremony was in Trinity Lutheran Church of Moorhead with Rev. Erling Jcobson officiating.

The bride wore a street-length dress of aqua crepe with white and brown accessories.  Her only jewelry was a gold cross, gift of the bridegroom. She wore a corsage of Johanna Hill roses.

Miss Virginia Hegland, Sister of the bride, wore a white eyelet dress with matching accessories.  Her corsage was of pink roses.

L. Orville Swanson attended his brother.

Following the service a reception was held in the home of the bridegroom's parents.  Mrs. Marvin Butze and Mrs. William Anderson cut the cake, and Misses Jeanne and Marian Bekkerus poured.  Miss Irene Swanson, sister of the bridegroom, was in charge of the guestbook.

Among the out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hegland and son, Wayne. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hegland and son, Robert, all of McIntosh, Minn.; and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Warner of Georgetown, Minn.

Mr. and Mrs. Swanson will be at home at 1621 Ninth Avenue South.
