Alfred Hegland 1905-1991
 | Alfred Hegland was born on October 27, 1905 on the family farm in Brandsvold Township outside Fosston MN. He was baptized at Poplar River Church. Alfred married Edith Frisk on November 5, 1930, in McIntosh. They had one child. Alfred loved to play the violin, and was quick to pull it out at any family gathering. He had a good ear and tuned most of the family's pianos. Edith passed away in 1983. Alfred continued to work on the farm and care for his cattle until shortly before his death on December 2, 1991. Alfred and Edith are buried in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural McIntosh. |
